Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire, the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Bolton. You will maintain and repair our fleet to ensure safety and legal compliance for hire to customers.

We value Level 2 or Level 3 technicians with 3+ years of hands-on experience. The role includes IMI accredited training, generous benefits, and a competitive basic salary with potential for overtime and progression.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic.

42.5 hours / Day Shifts Only. As and when required overtime is available and this is paid at time and half.

About you

As a Vehicle Technician you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles to ensure they are safe and legally compliant for our customers to hire. If you are Level 2 Qualified Technician with at least 3 years employment as a technician/mechanic or fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic, we would love to hear from you.

About our training

We have our own internal IMI accredited training department, where we can upskill you on such things as Hybrid & EV vehicle repair, Tail lift, braking systems, electrics etc:

For those trained to Level 2, you can take a training needs analysis so we can build a personalised training program for you to increase your skillset.
