A key member of the Engineering and Maintenance team, the Maintenance Planner supports Operations working closely with the Maintenance Team, compiling and delivering an effective asset care plan for each planned shutdown. Preparing day-to-day site maintenance work tasks, scheduling, and distributing them to site teams/resources. Generating and reporting KPIs. Improving plant reliability and reducing costs through data from SAP to drive asset improvements and effective planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan all tasks associated with shutdowns by collaborating with Operations and Maintenance. Responsible for delivering effective plans for each shutdown, continuously improving reliability, AIB, reducing labor costs, and driving efficiency.
• Drive effective scheduling to implement asset care, achieving or exceeding target KPIs on the monthly scorecard. Collaborate daily with Operations to maintain targets via QCDM meetings.
• Review work orders/requests and prioritize through effective collaboration with Maintenance and Operations teams.
• Support Improvement Teams by scheduling Failure Analysis work orders as required based on team feedback.
• Ensure weekly scorecards are produced and fed back to teams, providing labor utilization information, maintaining SAP, using data standards, preparing ad-hoc reports, and updating tasks and instructions as needed.
• Maintain SAP data, including new equipment and associated asset care regimes.
• Support site actions and take ownership of issues related to internal audits such as PEMM, BRC, and AIB.

Qualifications

• Highly numerate with analytical thinking; able to support the Maintenance Team, Operations, and others with decisions and judgments.
• Ability to work in a changing environment, generating ideas and solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload.
• Highly motivated, a strong team player with good communication skills both written and verbal, across various contacts within and outside the organization.
• Skills in influencing others and negotiating.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, and SAP.
• Assertiveness and confidence to participate actively in meetings with employees and external contractors at all levels.
• Knowledge of system equipment.
• Daily contact with peers and other employees at all levels.
• Basic knowledge of system flow streams and how equipment affects system efficiency and pallet quality.
• Adaptability to sudden changes in production and equipment demands.
