CMS - Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Planner for an ongoing contract based in Dagenham. The role involves coordinating reactive and planned maintenance, communicating between residents and trade operatives, and ensuring smooth scheduling of repairs in a large social housing contract.

Key responsibilities include scheduling appointments, closing jobs for invoicing, updating records, coordinating with supervisors and trades, and managing admin duties while ensuring excellent resident service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in repairs/maintenance or social housing would be an advantage.
  • Good telephone manner and organisational skills are essential; ability to prioritise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments for maintenance work.
  • Close jobs for invoicing.
  • Log current jobs in the company database.
  • Work with Supervisors and trades people to organise and schedule work.
  • Update and change information as the job changes.
  • Order equipment needed for the job.
  • Perform general admin duties (filing, scanning, etc.).

Maintenance Planner

Location-Dagenham

Ongoing Contract

Hourly rate £17.34 per hour

Our client is looking for aPlannerprevious experience within repairs/maintenance/ social housing would be an advantage.

Covering aLARGEsocial housingcontract, as aPlanner, you are the key member communicating Reactive and Planned Maintenance between theResidentandTrade Operative.

The role involves tasks such as;

  • Providing excellent customer service to residents/ tenants and trade operatives
  • Scheduling appointments for maintenance work.
  • Closing jobs ready for invoicing.
  • Logging current jobs onto company database.
  • Working with Supervisors and trades people to organise and schedule work.
  • Updating and changing information as the job changes.
  • Ordering equipment needed for the job.
  • General Admin duties such as filing, scanning etc.

Skills and experience required;

  • For this role, you must have a good telephone manner, beorganised,the ability toprioritise work, and pay attention to detail.
