Job summary

Ringway London in Bromsgrove is seeking an operative to perform a wide range of routine and cyclical works. You will join crews on specific jobs, ensuring works meet specifications while prioritising safety and completing required reporting.

Travel to depots/sites across the county is expected as needed; occasional out-of-area travel may occur. The role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential for emergency or winter call-outs and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Teamwork-oriented and able to participate fully in team activities

• Capable of completing record sheets, either paper or electronic
• Responsible for plant, equipment and vehicle defect inspections

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations.
• Work with crews on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification.
• Manage safety with the team and complete all necessary reporting (paper or electronic).
• Respond to emergencies and call outs during or outside of normal hours, and assist with winter maintenance.
