Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Building Fabric Technician / Handyperson to carry out planned and reactive maintenance at client premises. You will be installing, maintaining and repairing fabric systems and components, while interacting with clients and tenants to ensure high standards of service.

You must have knowledge of basic plumbing or carpentry, recognised qualifications, and a valid UK driving licence. This is a hands-on role with a 40-hour work week and opportunities for training and

• Recognised industry qualifications or equivalent training in mechanical, plumbing or carpentry.
• Broad knowledge of building services systems and health and safety procedures.
• IT literacy and basic software skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance at client premises.
• Install, maintain and repair fabric systems and components.
• Assist with plumbing PPM and reactive tasks when required.
• Diagnose problems and select appropriate materials to fix them.
• Provide advice to clients, contractors and other professionals.
• Interact professionally with clients and tenants to ensure service excellence.

In this role asBuilding Fabric Technician / Handyperson, you will undertake the planned and reactive maintenance at our client premises. The Fabric Technician / Handyperson will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are adhered to at all times. Be professional and readily interacting with our client / tenants as required.

As ourBuildingFabric Technician / Handyperson, you will Install, maintain and repair fabric systems and components and installing and maintaining a host of different fabric aspects and on occasions assisting with other duties including plumbing PPM and reactive tasks. You will also be diagnosing and correcting problems; selecting appropriate materials and provide advice to clients, contractors and other professionals. You must have basic knowledge of either plumbing or carpentry.

Our Ideal candidate will need to have:

• Recognised industry qualifications, equivalent training programme in either mechanical / plumbing / carpentry. Or previous experience in a similar role.
• Broad knowledge and experience of building services systems, maintenance management and health and safety procedures.
• IT Literate.
• Valid UK Driving license
