Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs in Stockport is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our premium health clubs safe and fully functioning. You’ll maintain equipment, monitor plant systems and respond to issues to ensure a flawless member experience seven days a week.

We value practical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electrical work, plus a Pool Plant Operators Qualification. A full driving licence and strong communication are essential to travel between clubs in your region.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in building trades (carpentry/plumbing/electrics).
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Monitor and service plant and pool systems.
• Respond to maintenance issues to ensure minimal disruption for members.

About you:

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) – Essential

• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)

• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region

• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
