Job summary

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep our club environments safe and fully functional. You will maintain pool plant systems and other facilities, ensuring high safety standards and a top-notch member experience.

Ideal candidates have hands-on technical skills (carpentry/plumbing/electrical), hold an STA Pool Plant Operator qualification, and can travel between clubs within the region. A valid driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Has technical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electrical work – essential.
• Hold a Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar).
• Possess a valid driving licence or ability to travel between clubs in the region.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all club equipment is safe, well-maintained and fully functional.
• Maintain pool plant systems and general facilities to ensure a high-quality member experience.
• Travel between clubs within the region to support operations and cover shift needs.

About You

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) – Essential
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)
• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
