About The Role

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, and IT skills are preferred. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when interacting with residents and colleagues.

The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections and regular audits, keeping records up to date. Responsibilities include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or decorating, always with kindness at the forefront.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act accordingly. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
