Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at Park House in Peterborough. You will oversee painting, decorating, repairs, and basic plumbing and electrical work while ensuring residents’ safety and comfort through strict health & safety practices.

Previous experience in gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical tasks is essential. We offer thorough induction, ongoing training, and a supportive team in a well-established care home group.

Park House is a care home in Peterborough that provides residential, nursing and dementia care for elderly people living in the local area. The home is set within an old period building and it has a good, friendly atmosphere. The stable core staff team have worked in the home for many years.

The quality and appearance of our homes create the first impression for visitors and are a source of enjoyment and immense pleasure for our residents and their families. Our maintenance teams take huge pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards.

What would a typical day look like?

Overseeing the upkeep of our home including painting, decorating, repairs and basic plumbing and electrical work

Ensuring our residents remain safe and comfortable by adhering to good health and safety practices at all times

Previous experience within gardening, decorating, plumbing and electrical work is essential and we can provide you with a thorough induction and training programme to further develop your skills along with the support and guidance of a well-established team who truly value their colleagues.
