Brookdale View Care Home in Manchester is seeking a Maintenance Officer to keep the home safe, well maintained and fully operational. This hands-on role involves repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep to ensure a comfortable, safe environment for residents.

Working with the Home Manager, you’ll help coordinate maintenance planning, safety checks and contractor work while upholding health and safety standards and delivering a proactive, practical service.

Formación

• Experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role.
• Knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Proactive and practical approach.
• Reliable, organised and able to problem solve.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and systems are safe and functioning, identifying issues early and taking action.
• Support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination with the Home Manager.
