Job Description:
The Role: As a maintenance engineer, you will be an integral member of the repairs and planned preventative maintenance service, working directly with the head of maintenance to ensure repairs are carried out effectively and efficiently.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking instructions from the maintenance department regarding the daily schedule of jobs
- Attending units to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance repairs
- Completing jobs in accordance with service level agreements
- Registering job progress reports and completing job reports
- Accurate collation of data for each job (photos/videos)
- Monitoring planned maintenance and breakdown activities, logging delays, and escalating to the maintenance service team
- Maintaining stock levels of materials and supplies within your vehicle
- Providing high levels of customer service to achieve customer satisfaction, handling complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Performing other duties as requested by departments
- Updating information on PDA system
- Complying with Stef & Philips policies and carrying out any reasonably required duties
Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation
- Substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, plastering)
- Experience managing vulnerable individuals and HMO properties
- Enhanced DBS / Police check required
- Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure
- Previous relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible working to meet role demands
