Manpower UK is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our estates maintenance team, supporting critical building services in a complex environment.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating, plumbing, water, steam, ventilation and HVAC systems, reading drawings and procedures. On-call and weekend work may be required; a recognised apprenticeship and Level 3 in mechanical trades are preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Services, or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Experience working on heating, plumbing, hot and cold water, HVAC, steam and mechanical building services systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults on mechanical plant and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Basic IT skills and experience completing maintenance records.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including participation in on-call and weekend working where required.
• Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces and within safety-critical environments.

• Maintain, repair and fault-find mechanical building services including heating, plumbing, water, steam, ventilation and HVAC systems.
