Job description

Position: Maintenance Mate

Location: London: WC1E

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £20,000 to £25,000 subject to experience level

We are looking for a Mate/ Labourer to work alongside a team of plumbers, gas engineers, electrical engineers and air conditioning engineers for a very large static site.

This mate will be supporting the engineers on site with any of their needs, this could include running with materials to engineers on site, moving furniture, supporting engineers with installations as well as lots of other duties

This person does not need to have any experience; however, they do need to able to lift heavy objects and have a good understanding of health and safety risks. This is a very large site so this person will be on foot a lot during the working day

Requirements

• Able to travel to the WC1E area of London daily
• Must be willing to do messy jobs if needed
• Supportive nature
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
• Experience using tools would be an advantage
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Happy to support other engineers

Package

• Basic salary around or above minimum wage
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Pension
