Permanent

48 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis; however, flexibility is required to work any 5 days in a 7-day period to suit business needs.

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.

We are now recruiting for a Driver’s Mate to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers accurately and safely from our Farnborough depot to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
• Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Prior experience working as a driver’s mate, drayman, or within a warehouse is desirable; however, not required.
• Customer service skills.
• Manual handling experience and/or training is desirable; however, full training will be provided during induction.
• Knowledge of the local region.
