Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one-stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. The site can produce 480,000 cans per hour, 96,000 PET bottles per hour, and 48,000 Glass bottles across their 7 manufacturing lines. Currently, around 300 employees work across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering, offering excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.

What To Expect

The main purpose of the Maintenance Manager is to lead the site maintenance program to ensure all site assets, including manufacturing and processing equipment, meet specific site/legislative requirements.

Focus on technical expertise to support quick technical resolution, ensuring customer service, safety, or quality is not compromised.

Develop and execute the Maintenance Plan for complex beverage manufacturing lines to ensure all asset care schedules are achieved, assets are available, and reporting is accurate to drive efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with site leaders and technical staff to assess maintenance effectiveness and identify technical training needs to enhance performance.

Drive Performance Efficiency And Effectiveness By

• Identifying opportunities for line utilization and machine reliability improvements through maintenance plans or Operational Excellence projects, sharing best practices.
• Engaging with the Site Senior Engineering Manager on technical projects, including budget management.
• Planning and preparing asset care interventions efficiently, focusing on quality and speed.
• Actively participating in the Apprentice Program, contributing to recruitment and development.

Team Leadership

• Manage, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Budget And Compliance

• Manage M&R budget, controlling costs while maintaining high standards.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and OEMs for value and quality.

Skills & Essentials

The candidate should demonstrate improvements in asset care and mechanical efficiencies, with strong management and communication skills, capable of performing under pressure and making timely decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance or Engineering Manager in FMCG or manufacturing.

Preferred but Not Essential:

• Knowledge of SAP
• NEBOSH, IOSH
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma
• Experience with TPM
