Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, manage budgets, and ensure safety and high standards across the park. The role involves hands-on tasks, liaising with contractors, and coordinating with sales for holiday home movements.

The ideal candidate will have proven maintenance management experience in leisure environments, strong leadership, and a commitment to health and safety. DBS check is required; weekend and peak-time work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance management within leisure or park environments.
• Strong team management abilities with workload allocation and staff development.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical work and plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Conduct health and safety checks per park agreements and regulations.
• Plan, prepare and implement a proactive maintenance schedule for all plant and facilities.
• Manage workloads for the maintenance team and provide guidance and training.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists and inspect facilities for hazards.
• Coordinate movement of holiday homes with Sales Manager for smooth after-sales service.
• Supervise siting activities ensuring safety and compliance.
• Liaise with external contractors on projects and ensure high standards.
• Manage maintenance budget and control costs within department.
