Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a food manufacturing site in Bristol. You will lead day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities, maximise asset reliability, and drive KPI reporting using Fresh Report.

You'll implement and optimise PPM programmes, manage service contracts and external contractors, develop SOPs, and mentor a high-performance engineering team while controlling budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Maintenance Engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• HACCP Level 3 or Level 4.
• Food Safety Level 3 or Level 4.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities to maximise site asset reliability and performance.
• Track and report engineering KPIs using Fresh Report.
• Drive continuous improvement of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes and maintenance processes.
• Implement and optimise PPM kitting systems to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Develop and maintain engineering SOPs and ensure effective training across the department.
• Work closely with the Training Department to ensure mandatory compliance training is completed.
• Manage service contracts and external contractors, ensuring value for money and high-quality workmanship.
• Oversee asset management systems, ensuring all equipment is effectively maintained and tracked.
• Drive engineering standards, continuous improvement projects, and best practice maintenance methodologies.
• Manage engineering budgets, maintenance costs, and resource planning.
• Identify and lead coaching and development of the engineering team for high performance.
