Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for a Bristol FMCG site. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee fault-finding and preventative maintenance on production and packaging lines, ensuring maximum uptime in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, manufacturing experience, and delivery of reliability improvements while supporting ongoing development and career growth within the site.

Qualifications

Job Role of the Maintenance Manager

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a FMCG manufacturing site in Bristol. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, high-speed production lines, and continuous improvement initiatives, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and future leadership opportunities.

You will be responsible for leading a maintenance team that will be carrying out maintenance , fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment and facilities including all of the production and packaging lines ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working on a Monday - Friday day shift pattern, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Manager

• Management experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Team Leadership / Supervisory experience
• Experience within manufacturing
• Experience with management

Requirements for the Maintenance Manager

• Hands-on experience
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Management experience

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Manager.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Manager within the UK.
• Supervisory experience
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
