Join Our Team as Maintenance Manager at Aspris Ridgeway School

Here at Aspris, we are proud to be a leading provider of specialist education services with over 30 schools nationwide. We are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join us in opening a new school for autistic children and young people (opening September 2025).

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager responsible for all aspects of site compliance, ensuring all documentation, risk assessments, and checks are up to date, and leading health and safety audits for both schools.

What Will Aspris Ridgeway Look Like?
  • Autism expertise and excellence, educating up to 60 pupils aged 7-19 with identified autism needs and in receipt of an EHCP.
  • A welcoming environment with specialist therapy and teaching areas, staffed and resourced for complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and governance.
  • Opportunities that engage young people in appropriate learning, achieving outstanding progress.
  • A highly individualised, therapeutic curriculum preparing pupils with lifelong skills.

Initially opening with Y5 and Y6 pupils, we seek outstanding primary teachers to join us on this exciting journey.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Checking and completing all site documentation and supporting health & safety audits.
  • Advising the Headteacher on health and safety checks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Reviewing risk assessments regularly, ensuring they are site-specific and current.
  • Managing and maintaining school buildings and environment effectively.
  • Identifying and reporting damages or faults, taking appropriate action to meet quality standards and regulations.
  • Communicating maintenance requests to the Headteacher and delegating tasks within the team.
  • Working within the school's budget to complete all tasks efficiently.
