The Opportunity

In this role, reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing people, maintaining plant, buildings, and services. You will ensure machinery is ready for planned production and that buildings and services are maintained to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing health and safety and fostering a safe working culture
• Managing, motivating, and developing the engineering team
• Supporting the development of site engineering strategy in alignment with business goals
• Contractor management and service contract oversight
• KPI and budget management

The Ideal Candidate

We value collaboration and diversity. Successful candidates will possess:

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
• HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing
• Experience in a supervisory role, ideally within food manufacturing but other backgrounds are considered
• Experience with CMMS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Good numeracy skills for budget monitoring
