Maintenance Manager

Location: Derby

Contract: 39-hour flexi-hours

Salary: Dependent on experience

Kirkland Associates are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join our client's team based in Derby. This role is within a structural steel manufacturing environment and is responsible for coordinating and conducting all maintenance and service-related duties.

Maintenance Manager - The role

• Coordinate and carry out all maintenance to ensure efficient production operations
• Plan and execute PPM, calibrations, and safety checks
• Maintain proficiency in various engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Manage procurement of parts and spares
• Manage a small team, workload, and prioritize jobs within deadlines

Maintenance Manager - The candidate

• Strong understanding of CNC machinery operation, especially Siemens Sinumerik HMI
• Ability to diagnose machinery faults
• Engineering qualification in electrical or mechanical discipline
• Electrical experience is essential
• Ability to manage digital maintenance records
