Ready to make an impact?

As a Maintenance Manager in our Leisure team, you will be responsible for providing diverse professional services to ensure that the facilities are always fully Statutory and Contract Compliant.

You will regularly review utility data and analyze it to reduce national grid energy consumption, optimize ‘green energy systems’ production by managing the building’s gas and electromechanical plant, and ensure the building fabric is maintained for maximum efficiency.

You’ll be entrusted to:

• Ensure site-based energy consumption is optimized through data analysis, including the production and execution of improvement plans.
• Support project management of capital works related to contracts.
• Coordinate with sub-consultants, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in planning preventative maintenance tasks over a five-year horizon.
• Lead the maintenance and implementation of the Leisure Energy Management System, driving continual improvement and reduction in energy consumption and carbon footprint without compromising customer experience.
• Manage energy data via Automatic Monitoring & Targeting and platforms like SystemsLink and IMServ – Data Vision.
• Maintain and support certification to ISO 50001:2018 standard.
• Collaborate with Contract Managers, Building Services, and Operational staff to reduce energy use.
• Report on energy management performance against internal and contractual targets.
• Identify and develop energy management opportunities through innovation, technology, and funding schemes.

You’ll be a great fit if you have…

• Experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably within the Leisure sector or similar, with a thorough knowledge of health, safety, and statutory building regulations.
• Deep understanding of electro-mechanical systems and equipment, including relevant regulations and codes of practice.
• Knowledge of quality procedures.
• Understanding of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, commissioning, control strategies, and operation.
• Experience conducting energy audits and reviews.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems.
• Preferably, knowledge of pool plant operation and SFG 20 maintenance strategies.
• Technical qualifications in building maintenance or energy-related fields.
