Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager (Electrical) in Houghton Le Spring, England. The role focuses on leading maintenance across a manufacturing site, driving reliability improvements and coordinating engineers and contractors to minimize downtime.

You will report to the site leadership, oversee PM schedules, and deliver continuous improvements within a Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00 framework.

The company are recognised within its industry and continue to invest heavily in both its facilities and workforce. As a result, they are seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function and ensure the smooth operation of site-wide production equipment.

You will be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities, managing engineers and contractors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximise plant performance and minimise downtime.

This role would suit a Maintenance Manager, Lead Engineer or Senior Maintenance Engineer with experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment who is looking to lead an established engineering team.

The Role:

• Lead all maintenance and engineering activities across site


• Manage PPM schedules, plant reliability and continuous improvement projects


• Oversee engineers, contractors and maintenance activities across site


• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-16:00pm

The Person:

• Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer / Senior Maintenance Engineer


• Strong Electrical Engineering background


• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar


• Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment


• Commutable to Houghton Le Spring
