Diageo in Keith, Scotland, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of engineers and production staff. You will plan and supervise preventive maintenance, ensure uptime, and drive improvements while upholding safety, quality and environmental standards.

You will apply strong engineering knowledge, develop site strategies, and collaborate with site managers and craft groups to optimise spare parts, resources and production reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or qualification in engineering or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing/production setting.

Job Description : Job title - Maintenance Manager Location - Keith, Scotland Contract - Full time, Permanent Closing Date - 02 November 2026 Standard Scotland 38hr week. 8am - 4.30pm Mon to Thu and 8am to 2pm Friday.

About the role

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of professionals and/or production and manufacturing employees, ensuring team objectives align with wider operational goals. You will apply sound practical and conceptual knowledge within your area of expertise, while maintaining an understanding of how your team works with other functions. You will be accountable for team performance and results, adapting plans and priorities to meet changing operational needs while working within established policies, procedures and guidance from your manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, Environmental & Quality Standards
• Ensuring compliance to maintenance regulatory standards within the area
• Working closely with Site Manager's, Operators, Maintenance Leads and Craft groups to ensure all mandatory and requested maintenance is effectively planned into the production schedule, ensuring the accurate resource and spare parts are available to carry out the maintenance
• Supporting and energising deployment of the MMS Asset Care Strategy level with technical teams and Operations
• Developing and delivering focused improvements to drive plant uptime and cost competitiveness
• Driving improvement initiatives in line with Manufacturing Excellence asset care practice

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the plant
• Ability to coordinate a variety of tasks and prioritise self and others accordingly
• Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance techniques and data analysis, use of applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and business systems such as SAP
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to lead and drive improvements
• Able to work as individual but also part of team. Have meticulous attention to detail
• Degree or qualification in engineering or equivalent hands‑on maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
