Job summary

WIOSS On Site Services GmbH in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for our growing UK team at our new site location in Hatfield, Doncaster. You will lead the on-site maintenance team, ensuring high performance and strong customer satisfaction while aligning maintenance strategies with production needs.

You will manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, and serve as the main customer contact.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in maintenance, service, or engineering.
  • At least 3 years in leadership/management.
  • Experience with automated or logistics environments.
  • Proficient in CMMS and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the on-site maintenance team.
  • Ensure system availability, quality, and cost targets.
  • Act as main customer contact, manage communications and escalations.
  • Define and optimize maintenance strategies aligned with operations.
  • Analyze performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and safety/compliance (HSE).

Your role in our team

  • lead and develop the on‑site maintenance team, ensuring a high‑performing organisation
  • ensure customer satisfaction by delivering targets for system availability, quality, and cost performance
  • act as the main customer contact, managing communication, expectations, and escalations
  • define and optimise maintenance strategies aligned with operational and production requirements
  • analyse performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • manage budgets, resources, and compliance with HSE and safety standards
  • degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
  • minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance, service, or engineering, with 3+ years in leadership
  • strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, continuous improvement, and technical systems
  • experience within automated or logistics environments, with good commercial awareness
  • proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a results‑driven, customer‑focused approach
  • experience in managing and developing teams, including performance management and training
  • strong understanding of HSE regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
