Job summary

Evo Personnel are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for an established manufacturing site in the Burnley area. The role reports to the engineering leadership and covers hands-on maintenance, automation projects and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

The role is day shift (37.5 hours) with a typical Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-early finish, and flexible hours for the right candidate. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Maintenance Manager

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager for an established manufacturing company based in the Burnley area.

Salary & Package

£48,.00 - £50,.00 DOE.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Pension contribution.

Day Shift

• Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00.
• Friday 08:00 - Early finish.
• 37.5 hours a week.
• 1 hour lunch break.
• The hours can be flexible based on a Monday - Friday 37.5 hour week for the right candidate.

Experience Required

• Manage a small team of technicians.
• Manage external contractors.
• Lead and co-ordinate maintenance activity across the manufacturing site.
• Planned, preventive and reactive maintenance experience.
• Strong practical understanding of manufacturing machinery and engineering processes.
• Manage projects including, new machinery, equipment upgrades and manufacturing improvements.
• Experience with automation and continuous improvement projects.
• Operate an In-House management system.
• Trouble shoot and manage machinery breakdowns.
• Co-ordinate and manage projects.
• Manage engineering and maintenance budgets.
• Facilities management.
• CAD, AutoCAD and Solidworks experience.
• Experience of working a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
• You’ll need to have a strong maintenance engineering or manufacturing engineering background within a production environment and be confident working in a hands‑on fast‑paced environment.
• You’ll need to be organised, practical and forward-thinking, with the ability to manage maintenance requirements whilst also supporting wider engineering, automation and continuous improvement projects.
