Job summary

Maintenance Lead role at a manufacturing site in the Burnley area. 37.5 hours per week on a Monday–Friday schedule (Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–Early finish), with flexibility for a 37.5 hour week for the right candidate.

Salary £48,000–£50,000 DOE plus 25 days holiday and pension contribution. Responsibilities include leading a small maintenance team, managing external contractors, coordinating maintenance across the site, and driving automation and continuous improvement projects.

Job description

Maintenance Lead

Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Lead for an established manufacturing company based in the Burnley area.

Salary & Package

£48.00 - £50.00 DOE.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Pension contribution.

Day Shift

Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00.

Friday 08:00 – Early finish.

37.5 hours a week.

1 hour lunch break.

The hours can be flexible based on a Monday – Friday 37.5 hour week for the right candidate.

Experience Required

• Manage a small team of technicians.
• Manage external contractors.
• Lead and co-ordinate maintenance activity across the manufacturing site.
• Planned, preventive and reactive maintenance experience.
• Strong practical understanding of manufacturing machinery and engineering processes.
• Manage projects including, new machinery, equipment upgrades and manufacturing improvements.
• Experience with automation and continuous improvement projects.
• Operate an In-House management system.
• Trouble shoot and manage machinery breakdowns.
• Co-ordinate and manage projects.
• Manage engineering and maintenance budgets.
• Facilities management.
• CAD, AutoCAD and Solidworks experience.
• Experience of working a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
• You’ll need to have a strong maintenance engineering or manufacturing engineering background within a production environment and be confident working in a hands-on fast-paced environment.
• You’ll need to be organised, practical and forward-thinking, with the ability to manage maintenance requirements whilst also supporting wider engineering, automation and continuous improvement projects.
