Maintenance Manager

Salary: 28,000 + call-out bonus

Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: West Midlands

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance at a Housing Association. Are you an experienced tradesperson looking to take your first step up?

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and adherence to risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of all scheduled Health and Safety checks and reactive works.
• Liaise with external contractors and the Property Services Manager to ensure compliance with regulations such as fire safety, legionella, electrical, gas, asbestos, and LOLER.
• Conduct site inductions for new staff, including fire evacuation procedures and equipment.
• Order materials from approved suppliers and monitor stock levels.
• Proactively identify and carry out reactive, preventative maintenance tasks, and scheduled safety checks.

Essential criteria:

• Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
• Qualified in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, painting/decorating, plumbing, electrical, ventilation).
• Full driving license.
