Job summary

Elysium Healthcare at St Neots Neurological Service is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance and lead a team, ensuring safe, compliant facilities for patients, staff and visitors.

You will manage PPM programmes, coordinate on-site contractors and support budget monitoring while upholding health and safety standards. Collaboration with the Support Services Manager and governance groups is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hospital or similar environment.
• Good managerial and communication skills.
• Knowledge of statutory fire, electrical and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities and prioritise workloads.
• Coordinate contractors on site and ensure works are completed safely and to standard.
• Support planned preventative maintenance programmes and budget monitoring.
• Report to Support Services Manager and participate in relevant governance meetings.
