Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a fully time-served Maintenance Joiner to work within the public sector. This temporary position could lead to a permanent contract.

You will perform a range of joinery tasks, from routine maintenance to installing and repairing doors and windows, ensuring facilities remain safe and functional. The successful candidate will have strong joinery experience, a solid knowledge of woodworking tools, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Fully time-served joiner with proven experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine joinery maintenance.
• Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, skirtings, flooring and other joinery components.
• Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
