Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Reactive Maintenance Joiner to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, performing joinery repairs across domestic and commercial properties. The role offers long-term temporary work with consistent Monday-Friday hours.

You will carry out reactive and planned joinery repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and ensure high standards of workmanship while following health and safety procedures. A full UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Time-served joiner with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience in reactive maintenance or property repairs.
• Confident working independently and managing a varied workload.
• Experience working within domestic properties; commercial/public-sector experience desirable.
• Able to complete high-quality repairs and maintenance work.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and supervisors.
• Health & Safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive joinery repairs in domestic properties and public/commercial buildings
• Completing repairs to doors, windows, flooring, skirting, architraves and other joinery elements
• Repairing and replacing damaged fixtures and fittings
• Carrying out general joinery maintenance and minor remedial works
• Responding to a variety of repair requests and diagnosing issues on site
• Working across occupied and unoccupied properties
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Completing jobs within agreed timescales and providing updates where required
• Working in line with relevant health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional approach when working in customers' homes and public buildings

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for experienced Reactive Maintenance Joiners to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance across a range of domestic and commercial properties.

This is a great opportunity for a time-served Joiner looking for long-term, consistent work within a well-established maintenance environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive and planned joinery repairs, responding to maintenance requests and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out reactive joinery repairs in domestic properties and public/commercial buildings
• Completing repairs to doors, windows, flooring, skirting, architraves and other joinery elements
• Repairing and replacing damaged fixtures and fittings
• Carrying out general joinery maintenance and minor remedial works
