Job summary

TAY Recruitment Limited are seeking an experienced Fully Qualified Maintenance/Installation Electrician to join our client’s busy Bridgend team. The role is on-site with a 39-hour week and a salary of £40,000 per annum.

You will need 18th Edition and City & Guilds Test and Inspection or equivalent, with clean driving licence; company vehicle and mobile phone provided. You will work on install, test, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Qualified to 18th Edition Regulations (18th.3 preferred).
• City & Guilds Test and Inspection or equivalent required or preferred.
• Clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Document maintenance activities clearly for records.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.

Overview & Requirements

• Subject to passing CRB check/NVVP3 check which our client will submit
• Need a clean Driving Licence
• Company vehicle and Mobile phone provided
• 39 hour week
• Call out rota including standby fee plus overtime.
• Salary £40,000 per annum

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and efficiently to minimise downtime.
