Job summary

TAY Recruitment Limited are looking for an experienced Fully Qualified Maintenance/Installation Electrician to join our client’s busy Bridgend operation.

You will be 18th Edition (18.3 preferred) with City & Guilds 2391-52 Test and Inspection or equivalent, able to install and fault-find industrial and commercial installations. The role is 39 hours per week with call-out standby and overtime; a company vehicle and mobile phone are provided, along with a clean driving licence and CRB/NVVP3 check.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Regulations (18.3 preferred).
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Test and Inspection or equivalent.
• Must be able to install and fault find Commercial & Industrial installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or faults.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Document maintenance activities clearly for records.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time.

Qualifications Needed

You will be qualified to the following -

City & Guilds 2391-52 Test and Inspection or equivalant.

Must have the ability to install and fault find Commercial & Industrial installations.

Overview & Requirements:

Subject to passing CRB check/NVVP3 check which our client will submit

Need a clean Driving Licence

Company vehicle and Mobile phone provided

39 hour week

Call out rota including standby fee plus overtime.

Salary 40,000 per annum
