Job summary

Water Park is seeking a motivated Maintenance/Grounds Person to work with the Grounds Manager. The role is flexible, 3/4/5 days per week, with a salary of £32,000 pro rata.

You will contribute to both internal and client-facing projects, maintaining high standards while working independently when needed. Prospective candidates should have general maintenance experience and relevant qualifications; a pro-active, friendly approach around clients and teams is essential, with a willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance work.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., chainsaw, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are an advantage.
• Willingness to develop current skill set and learn new technologies. High standards of work with attention to detail.
• Friendly and approachable, especially when around clients (including children).
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Woodwork, plumbing, glazing, plasterwork, and more.
• Grounds Maintenance: Grass cutting, leaf collecting, path resurfacing, dry stone wall repairs, chainsaw work, wood chopping.
• Technological Integration & Compliance: embrace compliant, tech-savvy approaches to streamline processes.
• Electrical Skills: any experience or qualifications in electrical maintenance/repair appreciated.
• Continuous Improvement: evolve, learn new skills, contribute fresh ideas to improve operations.
