Job summary

Water Park Lakeland Adventure Centre, part of the Eric Wright Group, is seeking a motivated Maintenance/Grounds Person to join the team. The role is flexible, 3/4/5 days per week, with a salary of £32,000 pro rata.

You will work alongside the Grounds Manager and contribute to both maintenance and grounds tasks. The centre operates 340 days a year and supports young people; you will engage with children and vulnerable adults under DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Willingness to develop current skill set and learn new technologies.
• High standards of work with strong attention to detail.
• Friendly and approachable around clients, including children.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Woodwork, plumbing, glazing, plasterwork and more.
• Grounds Maintenance: Grass cutting, leaf collecting, path resurfacing and repairs.
• Technical/compliance focus: adopt tech-friendly approaches to management tasks.
• Electrical skills: any maintenance/repair experience is welcome.
• Continuous improvement: evolve, learn, and contribute new ideas.
