Job summary

Probe UK Limited is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Fitter for its day shift. You will join an established maintenance team, performing planned and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure reliable operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and some welding. The position is based on-site with duties across the plant and factory environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold formal mechanical qualifications and ideally apprentice trained.
• Experience supporting plant and equipment in a robust manufacturing environment.
• Experience with heavy hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Welding ability desirable.

Our maintenance team supports a wide range of plant and equipment with established systems in place, helping to ensure minimal breakdowns and a smooth running operation.

We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our day shift team.

Duties of a Maintenance Fitter

As a maintenance fitter, you ll be working within an experienced and established team of maintenance engineers undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant.

Requirements of a Maintenance Fitter

As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you must hold formal mechanical qualifications (and ideally be apprentice trained) with proven experience of supporting plant and equipment within a robust manufacturing environment that has seen you support heavy hydraulic and pneumatic applications and ideally also have some form of welding ability.
