Job summary

Creagh Concrete is seeking a reliable Maintenance Fitter to join our busy production team in Northern Ireland. You will maintain and repair plant machinery, carry out planned preventative maintenance, and respond swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.

We require a time-served mechanical fitter or equivalent, with experience in industrial environments and strong fault-finding skills. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems is beneficial, and you will work both independently

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Perform inspections and checks on machinery and facilities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work closely with production teams to identify and implement improvements.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
