Job description

Hours of Work: Full-time: Shift Work Required – 3 Week Cycle
48 Hours - 48 Hours - 36 Hours Dayshift Nightshift (12 hours per shift)

Salary: £Competitive + excellent benefits package. Overtime available as required.

FTV Proclad International is a key player in the supply chain to the Oil and Gas industry and is rapidly expanding into other mainstream industry sectors.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our friendly maintenance and facilities team on a full-time basis.

Main Purpose of Post

Based in Glenrothes, the group maintenance department supports all Proclad group companies in and around the area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests through the Pirana system promptly.
• Use fault-finding skills and experience to repair machinery.
• Close out maintenance tasks within the system upon completion.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Perform PPM work as scheduled, minimizing production downtime.
• Coordinate with production regarding access to equipment.
• Install and assist with commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Continuously seek process and procedure improvements.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Education and/or Experience

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding skills, with knowledge of CNC and automated welding equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.
• Experience with Shire System Pirana is desirable.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages.
• Health and Safety awareness is required.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and a team player willing to assist in other disciplines.
