Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Fitter
Location: Livingston
Working Hours: 37 hrs per week - Shifts: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, 10pm to 6am, 2pm to 10pm; Friday 6am to 12.20pm, 6:40pm to 1am, 12:20 to 6:40pm
Salary: £30,731.94 + shift prem £7,682.99 annual salary £38,414.93. After successful probation: £31,366.65 + shift prem £7,841.66 annual salary £39,208.31
Profile: We are working with a leading manufacturer of Nickel, Titanium, and Steel alloy forgings for aerospace, defence, and energy sectors. A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Fitter in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking to advance their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: The role involves working on planned and reactive maintenance, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, electrical installations, and PAT testing. The successful candidate will handle all electrical plant maintenance tasks.
Experience: Applicants should be self-motivated, capable of managing a varied workload, and experienced in fault finding, reading technical drawings, working at heights and in enclosed spaces, and with basic IT skills. Industry experience in electrical maintenance, medium voltage systems, troubleshooting, and statutory inspection and maintenance is essential.
Education: Time served Electrical apprenticeship with trade papers.
