ETS Consulting Ltd is representing a maintenance fitter role for heavy machinery in Doncaster. The candidate will manage day-to-day engineering and maintenance, ensuring high standards and maximising machine efficiencies on multiple heavy lines driven by automated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, time-served with a mechanical bias, and experience with process machinery, electrical and mechanical work across PLC controlled systems.

Qualifications

• The role requires an apprentice-trained mechanical engineer.
• Competent fabricator welder.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance (PPM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day engineering and maintenance on heavy lines to maximise efficiency.
• Work on crushers, furnaces, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes and PLC controlled equipment.

Maintenance Fitter – Heavy machinery

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £46,761 - £53,846 + Pension + Overtime

Monday To Friday 7am-5pm

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on a number of heavy lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, and have process machinery experience. On a day to day basis you will to be involved in general electrical and mechanical work on crushers, furnaces, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes and other PLC controlled manufacturing heavy machinery.
