Job summary

BMS Performance Ltd. seeks an experienced maintenance leader to drive improvements across maintenance activities, processes and systems at our Plymouth site. You will oversee projects, support maintenance strategy development and foster clear ownership, accountability and performance standards.

The role emphasises leadership over hands-on tool usage. While engineering expertise is important, you will not be performing heavy hands-on work daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment.
• Must have full right to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience; formal management training advantageous.
• Multi-skilled engineering background with mechanical or electrical bias.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills; ability to drive projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of maintenance processes, systems and continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing site.
• Lead projects that improve equipment reliability, operational performance and team effectiveness.
• Play a key role in developing maintenance standards and driving a more proactive engineering culture.
