Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking a senior maintenance and engineering leader to ensure safe, reliable operations and compliance across plant, equipment and infrastructure. You will develop strategies to improve asset performance, drive efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs while coaching the engineering team to build capability and safety culture.

The role focuses on delivering capital projects, improving energy efficiency and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with customers

Qualifications

• Strong technical engineering expertise in a complex operational environment.
• Proven experience delivering engineering and project management solutions that improve safety, reliability and performance.
• Experience building relationships with customers and stakeholders while providing technical support.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and supporting business objectives.
• Ability to influence others, lead change initiatives and implement new ways of working.
• Strong communication skills to develop colleagues and foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• You will lead the maintenance and engineering function, ensuring plant, equipment and infrastructure operate safely, reliably and in full compliance with legal and company requirements
• Also develop and deliver maintenance, reliability and engineering strategies that improve asset performance, increase operational efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs
• You will Inspire, coach and develop the engineering team, building capability, supporting succession planning and fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
• You will drive engineering improvement and capital projects that enhance reliability, energy efficiency and operational performance while delivering measurable business value
• As well as overseeing statutory inspections and regulatory compliance programmes, you will ensure planned maintenance activities are executed effectively to maintain safe and compliant operations
• In this position you will play a key role in optimising maintenance resources, budgets and critical spare parts management to minimise downtime, improve cost effectiveness and support uninterrupted production activities
