Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a fast-paced production facility in West Bromwich. You will lead a team of five engineers, manage contractors and oversee reactive and preventative maintenance to ensure uptime.

The role requires a Level 3 engineering qualification or higher, experience in manufacturing, and knowledge of electrical/mechanical maintenance with hydraulics and pneumatics. PLC fault-finding and 18th edition are desirable, with a company-focused, hands-on

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or higher.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience as maintenance manager or similar leadership role.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
• PLC fault-finding experience (Desired).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desired).

Our client is a well-known fast-paced manufacturer, part of a larger group in the UK. They are now looking for a maintenance manager to run their new shift in their fast-paced production facility.

Role & Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 5 engineers
• Managing contractors
• Reactive and Preventative maintenance
• Conducting toolbox talks
• Root cause analysis and fault‑finding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification or higher
• Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Experience as a maintenance manager, maintenance supervisor, maintenance team leader or in a similar role.
• Electrical / Mechanical maintenance experience
• Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• PLC Fault-finding experience (Desired)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desired)
