Job summary

Kinetic plc, Fleetwood, England, North West, is seeking an engineering maintenance professional for a busy manufacturing site. You will perform fault finding during production, carry out planned and unplanned maintenance, and assist in developing engineering apprentices.

You will plan workloads, source spare parts, maintain records, and uphold health and safety and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement across the operation.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with production efficiency and demand on the equipment.
• Assist in the skills development of the engineering apprentices.
• Fault finding during production and performing planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Assessing need of spare parts.
• Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload whenever necessary.
• Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation, Company policy and Company procedures.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.
• Maintain the required standards of housekeeping.
• Support other teams and functions as required by the business.
• Undertake self-development activities as required by the business.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.
• Conforming to the health and safety procedures and policies.
• It is the responsibility of the job holder to report any quality or food safety related issues to their Supervisor/Manager.
