Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will complete PPM and respond to reactive issues, working five days a week on site from 9am to 6pm with a 1-hour lunch, and a basic DBS check is mandatory.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer Plumber on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support the upkeep of our student accommodation sites, ensuring all plumbing maintenance is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive plumbing issues, ensuring all works are completed in line with performance requirements and service standards.
This role is 5 days a week on site with working hours of 9am - 6pm with 1 hour lunch. At Places forPeople, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment.Therefore, abasicDBS check is mandatory for this position.

The successful candidate will have experience in a plumbing maintenance role and possess the relevant qualifications. You'll be a proactive problem solver with a strong customer focus and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable: experience with heating systems, Gas Safe registration, or experience within student accommodation or facilities management.
