Job summary

New Appointments Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy team supporting manufacturing equipment and site facilities. The role covers planned maintenance, reactive repairs, improvement projects and continuous improvement activities.

You will ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime and help drive site efficiency across the operation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance engineering, strong fault-finding skills and experience with PLCs and CNC

Qualifications

5+ years in a maintenance engineering role.
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience with CNC machinery, automation, injection moulding or plating equipment.
Good IT skills with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and site facilities.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and repair equipment as required.
Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
Use the CMMS system to manage tasks and maintain records.
Assist with new equipment installations and site improvement projects.
