Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep production lines running reliably on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with days and nights.

You will apply your mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills in an FMCG environment, with training opportunities and a £54k base salary plus up to £2k bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification (or equivalent) in engineering.
• Proven background in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Supporting the commissioning and ongoing performance of the new line.
• Collaborating with production teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Contributing to site-wide continuous improvement projects.
