KPA Recruitment Ltd in the Shrewsbury region is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer for a client in Halesfield. The successful candidate will ensure the safe operation of manufacturing equipment, perform reactive and planned maintenance, and oversee maintenance activities.

The role requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, the ability to fault find PLC software, and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on/4-off rotation. Temp to perm arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Time served multi skilled maintenance engineer with mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Apprenticeship qualification plus 17th/18th edition essential
• 2+ years' experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing maintenance role
• Ability to fault find and interpret PLC software from drawings
• Experience with conveyors and gearboxes; CNC/PLC/servo drives and inverters

Responsabilités

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on manufacturing equipment and buildings
• Carry out mechanical and electrical installation work on factory equipment
• Suggest and implement improvements to plant and machinery to prevent waste and improve productivity and quality
