Job summary

Maintenance Engineer role at a UK-owned leading food manufacturer in New Mills, High Peak. You will be responsible for all day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies.

The ideal candidate is an apprentice-trained mechanical engineer with experience of PLC systems and automated machinery, plus an understanding of PPM systems.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained mechanical engineer.
• Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance (PPM).

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day engineering and maintenance tasks to high standards.
