ETS Consulting is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer based in Stoke-on-Trent on a continental 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern. The role offers a salary of £48,000–£50,000 with pension and healthcare, in a secure FMCG manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have completed an apprentice in electrical or mechanical engineering and possess experience with preventative maintenance, automated PLC systems, and fault finding on production equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Experience with PLC controlled equipment and high‑speed automated environments would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support project-based work to improve equipment reliability.
